About This Home

The South Mission Beach House is a family-friendly beach house, just steps to the blue waters of Mission Bay and the warm sands of Mission Beach. With an abundance of outdoor dining and lounge space both front and back, you may find yourself spending quite a bit of your vacation outside, enjoying the palm trees, ocean and bay breezes and the warm sun on your face.

The ground level of the South Mission Beach House offers plenty of indoor/outdoor living space, thanks to living room’s retractable doors leading to the spacious front courtyard patio. The cozy living room offers sofa seating, soothing coastal decor and a flat panel TV in the corner, perfect for family movie nights or taking in a long-awaited sporting event.

Just adjacent to the living room is a stylish and modern kitchen with crisp white cabinetry and counters, a dramatic glass-tiled backsplash and stainless-steel appliances. While there isn’t a dedicated dining room, there is plenty outside, and the large marble topped breakfast bar provides both work space for the chef and casual seating for dining.

On this downstairs level, you’ll find a family-friendly bedroom with a Queen bed and a Twin bunk bed to sleep a total of 4. The full bath next to this room features a tiled and glass-walled walk-in shower.

On the upper level of the South Mission Beach House is a view balcony deck spanning between two of the bedrooms. This is a lovely spot to enjoy a birds-eye view of the comings and goings of the neighborhood or perhaps just take a few minutes alone with your favorite book or mobile device, catching up on social media.

On this level is one bedroom with a Queen bed and Twin bunk bed with laundry room, a second bedroom with a Queen bed and a third bedroom with a King bed. One full bath is shared and features a lovely tiled walk-in shower.

In the rear of the property, there is a back patio featuring beach shower, a gas BBQ grill and dining table and chairs. This is a wonderful space for the kids to play away from the adults and enjoy their snacks or meals.

This vacation rental comes with 2 dedicated parking spaces in the rear of the home and with parking at a premium in this area, this is an excellent feature just by itself!

The South Mission Beach House is ideally located within walking distance of the Mission Beach Market and casual eateries and restaurants. A quick 10 to 15-minute walk along Ocean Front Walk takes you to Belmont Amusement park and ocean front restaurants. Please be aware that this vacation rental (as is all of South Mission Beach) is in the flight path so you may hear occasional flight noise.

We had a wonderful time in San Diego, partly because we loved our space, and you can never take that for granted.

Very nice place, especially if you have young children. The fenced-in patio just outside the living room was perfect for relaxing while watching the kids play safely outdoors. Bedrooms with with Queens and large bunk beds make for comfortable sleeping and some excitement for the kids!

I am very impressed with the staff from Bluewater. I could call anytime if I had a question. I got phone calls and emails with updated information on my trip. Everthing was well organized and explained. They made it easy to plan a trip. We definitely will be back.

We had a great experience for our first family trip staying at a condo. There were plenty of beds, towels, and outside patio furniture. Even though it didn't have a dining area, it was recently renovated with a large counter and stools. It made for a nice seating area to eat and lots of counter space for food. There was a t.v. and dvd player for entertaining. The only glitch, enough parking. We made it work though.

Sunny fun times in San Diego.This house was a great catch! We were so lucky to find such a beautiful home, that was oh so comforting. Being so close to the beach, and the bay was a wonderful because we could choose which area to go to without packing up the whole car for a day trip. "This is a beautiful home that is either newly built or recently remodeled with luxury tastes and a great location near the bay, beach, and restaurants. Our friends who were staying nearby said its the nicest house they ever seen listed for a vacation rental. The front double doors open up to the fenced in patio is perfect for entertaining or keeping an eye on the kids. The property had everything we needed including two parking spaces in the garage which you can never find in Mission Bay. The clearance in the garage is low but my Tacoma Prerunner with a roof rack narrowly fit. I did have to remove the paddleboard racks before pulling in. It is a condo that shares a wall and ceiling with the next unit and might have heard footsteps above the kitchen but not in the bedrooms. The property manager, Bluewater Vacations, provided great customer service whenever I needed help and called to check in just in case. Would love to rent again the next time we're into town."

Great vacation - What can I say about this unbelievable trip to SD? The home is at the best location it can be, only about 1 Minute to the pacific and 30 seconds to the mission bay. We were 6 guys, and everybody had enough space for his own. Some parts of the home could be more cleaner than it was, in stead the outside, Bbq-grill and the stuff for the ocean. The service was excellent, chek-in very easy, we had some trouble with broken glasses, but that was no problem for anybody. The only thing which made me sad is, that we had no personal contact to the nice service-girls whiche helped us with any problem we hab bevor, during and after our vacation - but maybe, well see us next time :) By Marc from Stuttgart Germany on 11/11/2012 for a stay in 9/1/2012
