DESCRIPTION

Enter the home via an enclosed garden courtyard and into a welcoming open floor plan with elevated ceilings and filled with natural light and ocean blue. Step into the sleekly designed kitchen with a natural stone waterfall island and generous bar seating, where you or a personal chef can prepare gourmet meals utilizing the top-of-the-line Miele appliance package, then served on the circular Aqua dining table with a teardrop Carrera marble base and metal tabletop.

The ocean view living area features a gorgeous custom u-shaped sectional fronting a linear gas fireplace and a large 75” flat-screen television with 5.1 surround sound that delivers a cinematic experience and doubles as a piece of art when not in use. Adjacent is the ocean lounge with another TV, sofa and swivel chairs (for ultimate ocean viewing), all set against angular sliding glass walls that lead to the beach and pool deck with lounge seating, ceiling heaters and the first of 4 fire features.

The recreational pool features full-width rectangular roman steps for relaxing in the pool and a built-in spa. The recreational-size pool and spa extend the amazing water views from the living areas out over the ocean and provide a very rare experience in a vacation rental on the beach in San Diego; There just aren’t many homes with pools overlooking the ocean. Just down from the pool is the beach-level cabana bath, featuring a welcome vanity and foot wash and restroom. There are two separate showers to minimize waiting time, and after you rinse the salt and sand away after a day at the beach, be sure to grab a warm towel from the towel warmers provided for your comfort.

From the living area, take the floating staircase up an underwater-themed stairwell to the 2nd level bedroom suites. This level features 4 skylights, custom-built Italian cabinetry and a built-in wet bar offering the ultimate indulgence and comfort within easy reach of the bedroom suites. The beverage center, coffee machine and dishwasher are at your disposal for early morning coffee, refreshing drinks during the day, a sunset glass of wine on your balcony, or a tasty midnight snack! Another thoughtful amenity on this level is a sound and light deadening dual-pane glass sliding door that effectively closes off the sleeping rooms from the stairwell and living areas. Add the black-out shades in each bedroom, and the late sleepers in your group will rejoice!

The Primary Suite is something to behold. As you walk in, you are greeted with even more magnificent ocean views stretching out to the horizon. Relax in front of the 75’' TV on the living-room sized sofa and chairs or step out to a glass-paneled terrace with lounges and a fire pit where you can toast the sun setting the ocean alight each evening. The en-suite bath offers a dual sink stone vanity and oversized walk-in shower with an ocean view panel window. The king-size bed and sumptuous bedding round out this space, and as nice as the home is, you may never want to leave the bedroom!

Just across the hall is the Ocean Suite, complete with similarly beautiful water views and its own glass-paneled balcony and seating, along with a king-size bed, TV and en-suite bathroom, also with ocean views from the shower. Down the hall is the Garden Suite and Family Suite. The Garden Suite features a king-size bed, TV, and en-suite bathroom and balcony with expansive views of La Jolla Heights and the famous palm tree-lined Camino de la Costa. The Family Suite is also equipped with a TV and en-suite bathroom and sleeps up to 5 on a comfy top-of-the-line fold-down queen sofa and a twin over full bunk bed. For working from home vacations, both the Primary and Ocean Suites and the Ocean Lounge are equipped with natural wood desks for your convenience with wireless printing available.

The next stop is up to the roof-top deck Sky Lounge. This elevation is higher than any other home nearby and offers true 360-degree views of the ocean, beach, and the surrounding coastal neighborhood. Umbrella shaded lounges, pure ocean breezes and the sounds of crashing waves make this the perfect place for deep relaxation. Create unforgettable memories for your family and friends with al fresco oceanfront dining on a stunning 90” fire table with elongated flame while watching pelican flybys against fiery sunsets. The fully stocked standalone Italian kitchen concept (coming in January 2022) ensures ultimate convenience and delivers top culinary results with a professional Lynx grill with Rotisserie, a fridge and freezer drawers and a dishwasher. If your stay is beforehand, there will be a gas BBQ at your disposal.

Other luxury amenities include a light-filled garden courtyard with outdoor dining under ceiling heaters and facing the garden is a fitness/yoga room with cardio equipment, workout bench and functional training gear. There is a Tesla roof that powers the home and a Powerwall in the garage for complimentary charging.
