Welcome to Bluewater Oceanfront 2 North – a wonderful beachfront vacation rental overlooking the famous boardwalk and warm sands of San Diego’s Mission Beach. This home was custom built and purposely designed and decorated with two things in mind: comfort and enjoyment of the beach and everything it has to offer.

This is one of the top vacation rental homes on the Mission Beach boardwalk. It’s beautifully designed and outfitted with stylish furnishings and luxurious finishes, large view windows, outdoor patios, and multiple balconies.

This vacation rental home offers a spacious, open floor plan with the living, dining, and kitchen areas on the second and third floors so your group can spend time together with plenty of space. With all the windows, it’s hard to find a place that doesn’t have a great view!

You and your group can spend some time relaxing on the sunny oceanfront patio just off the living area, soak up the sun on the third-floor deck, or set up an umbrella on the sand, take a stroll along the beach, grab a surfboard and hit the waves, or go biking on the boardwalk. We immediately felt cozy in this property. The views were amazing and we really enjoyed the various balconies. Especially since the weather was a bit chillier than we anticipated, we used the balconies to snuggle up with a light banket and a good book in the very comfortable patio chairs. Kitchen and great room have wonderful views of the ocean, the master has its own deck and ocean views, and the other bedrooms are very spacious. We chose this home for our family vacation and couldn\'t be happier. I was surprised to know this home has a 2 car garage in this area which was a plus for us. This home is on the second level which worked best for us to avoid a bit of foot traffic from the boardwalk and still get to be oceanfront with 2 spacious decks. We were extremely happy with our experience. The pictures on Airbnb accurately represented the house and we found the house to be lovely. Especially all of the balconies...which we spent a lot of time hanging out on with the entire family. The master bedroom was a treat as we woke up to seeing/hearing the waves crash on the shore. It was beautiful. The staff at Bluewater Vacation Rentals was easy to reach and responded quickly...within minutes to any question we had. Well worth the money!!!

You can lay out in the sun all the way to sunset without having to go to the beach necessarily. Loved that!! Also, lots of space. We were able to fit 2 SUV's inside the garage. Walking simply across the boardwalk to the beach was great as well! Shower outside very useful. All in all, we had no regrets! Great trip! Great place! Definitely will rent again!

The pedestrian boardwalk is no longer a boardWALK. It has been taken over by higher speed scooters with young 10 - 20 year old riders. The scooters are left 'helter skelter' all along the walkways to and from the board walk as well as the board walk itself. We visited this exact area 3 years ago, and this is a HUGE change. 3 years ago we walked the board walk 3 times each day or more! This year, that was not the case. The speed of the scooters and the zig zagging between and around walkers, bikers and skaters was rude, disturbing, and sometimes frightening! We will reconsider this particular area because of that reason. This is not the fault of the management of this property, but it is an issue that the local government officials must address. It is a serious safety issue in many ways.

We have three young children (7, 5 and 1.5 years old), and were looking for a place that would offer amenities that a hotel can't: separate bedrooms for everyone, a washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen for easy (sometimes early) mealtimes. Kendra at Bluewater Vacation Homes was great - she told us this home had been recently renovated, helped us get settled (meeting us on day of check-in to show us how things worked), sent Dan out to fix TV and shower issues, gave advice on why the home was a good fit for us and suggested places to see/eat in the area. I asked for extra kitchen dish towels, and they showed up the next day (I found the home well equipped for our needs for the week). The kids loved staying here - we obviously had more than enough space (for the boys to wrestle), and I can see two or more families sharing this home comfortably (you can rent the unit below or the two beside, I think, for larger gatherings). There is even an elevator, which came in handy for getting our luggage to the third level (where the bedrooms are). The double garage easily accommodated our minivan and rental bikes (for four). This was right on the beach, which the kids loved - we saw dolphins, seals and pelicans along the shoreline. Several patios meant lots of opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach and boardwalk (at this time of year, it isn't too busy or noisy). You can take a short walk along the boardwalk to restaurants (very important when you have to tow three kids along), Balboa Park was a pleasant bike ride away (my husband even biked with the two older boys to SeaWorld - a bit of a challenge to find suitable bike paths, but they did it!), and all the local attractions were a short drive away. The home was neat, tidy and clean...I hope it stays this way, as we loved our stay in San Diego and look forward to coming back!

The double garage easily accommodated our minivan and rental bikes (for four). This was right on the beach, which the kids loved - we saw dolphins, seals and pelicans along the shoreline. Several patios meant lots of opportunity to enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach and boardwalk (at this time of year, it isn't too busy or noisy). You can take a short walk along the boardwalk to restaurants (very important when you have to tow three kids along), Balboa Park was a pleasant bike ride away (my husband even biked with the two older boys to SeaWorld - a bit of a challenge to find suitable bike paths, but they did it!), and all the local attractions were a short drive away. The home was neat, tidy and clean...I hope it stays this way, as we loved our stay in San Diego and look forward to coming back!

Review #5655898 Amazing Weekend! We had an amazing weekend at the vacation home! The entire process with Bluewater was a pleasure. They were able to meet our needs, the house was beautiful, super clean and the location was PERFECT.
