Rockaway Retreat One is an Oceanfront 3 bedroom, 2 bath vacation rental overlooking the boardwalk, sand and crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean. Large windows and a nice spacious ground-level outdoor patio let you take in all that oceanfront living has to offer.

This beach house is conveniently located on the 1st floor, and home features travertine floors, granite countertops, and a kitchen with stainless appliances. Other amenities include a flat-screen 3 flat-screen TV`s, a DVD player, and wireless internet. Plenty of light and windows to enjoy the sights as and sounds of Mission Beach and the Pacific Ocean.

Ready-made beds, linens bath and beach towels are supplied, as well as a kitchen stocked with all the basics you`ll need for cooking your favorite meals. There is a 2 car garage with space for one standard and one smaller vehicle. Please verify garage measurements in the parking amenities below.

Great location and staff was very nice. You still have a bit of privacy even though you are right there on the boardwalk which is one of the plus. Really nice to walk out of place and ten steps you are on the beach. Great views from inside this location as well, along with hearing the ocean make this a plus. As mentioned you are on boardwalk so there is noise from those folks. Space inside location is great. Parking is tight in the garage so if parking on the street may want to park over in Mission Bay area. Provide towels and washer/dryer but will need soap to clean them if need to reuse for several days. Provided other beach items which was a plus. Would stay again.

Perfect Location

This home was perfect for us. We traveled with elderly parents so being on the ground floor and not having to deal with steps was ideal. We enjoyed the beach with the kids and there were plenty of restaurtants near by as well. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The host was great! Can\'t wait to come back.

It was a beautiful location and house and our stay was great!

The location was great! We walked to dinner two nights and took walks on the boardwalk. The ocean was literally 100 yards away- we could hear the waves and see the sunset from our patio. When we got there, a chair was broken on the patio and within a few hours, they sent a guy with 4 new chairs that we all could comfortably sit outside on. It was a beautiful location and house and our stay was great!

The experience was great. Very clean and plenty of space. I just wish that the check-in would be sooner. We arrived early and just walked around and noticed it was ready before 4 pm. Superb location! Steps from the beach and all the action. The attached garage was much appreciated as parking in the area is horrible. Very detailed check in instructions so it was easy to access the unit. The listing photos are outdated and much of the furniture is different. The host responded quickly to our request for additional linens. The only real issue we had was the sliding patio door did not lock. We did not feel unsafe, but the patio is right on the boardwalk, so it\'s a very high foot traffic area (also great for people watching!) . Overall it was a pleasant stay and the condo was well equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!
