DESCRIPTION
Seascape Beach House is a charming and nicely updated bungalow in South Mission Beach. It's just steps to the boardwalk and beach and a 3-minute walk to Mission Bay. This home has been lovingly maintained and is ready for families to experience the best of beach living!
Features include a gated yard, slate patio with a gas BBQ and outdoor dining set, an oversized 2-car garage, large family suite, close to markets and restaurants and within walking distance to Belmont Park. The family suite envelopes the 2nd floor and features a 10′ x 9′ walk-in closet that has been converted into a sleeping room, perfect for kids.
Note that Bedroom 4 is a pass-through room to the garage and 2nd level and the downstairs living area isn't that large if you are coming with a larger group.
Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a fireplace and jetted tub in the bedroom suite, box fans, ready-made beds, one towel set and beach towel per guest, and a starter kit of soaps and paper goods.

We had a relaxing and memorable family vacation and would stay at the property again!

This was the perfect property for our family vacation. There nine of us including a two-year old and 13-year old. The location was literally steps from the beach and walking distance to most restaurants and coffee shops in the area. The set up is a little different but every inch of the house is used purposefully. The middle bedroom is a walk through so we put the early risers there. The primary bedroom and connected bathroom were perfect for Mom and Dad and the crib. The fourth bedroom is a converted walk in closet which is clearly stated in the description and was perfect for Grandma who is always cold! Communication with the property manager was amazing. They were so responsive and helpful. Pro tip: we rented a crib, high hair and stroller which was so very helpful and allowed us to fly without having to bring extra bulky items. The little courtyard was perfect for the kids to run around safely and the garage was an added bonus for parking instead of having to find street parking. We had a relaxing and memorable family vacation and would stay at the property again!

The kitchen was well stocked and had what we needed. It is located underneath airplane paths on their way in and out of the airport, and flights started at 6:30 am and went until 11:00. We were surprised by this the first morning, but got used to it, and we didn\'t mind. The location was worth it. Thanks so much! Hope to be back!

We had a wonderful stay during the week of Thanksgiving. The house is perfectly located just a minute walk to the beach, and close to neighborhood markets and restaurants. It has an enclosed garage for two vehicles, so no issues with parking. Everything we needed was available at the house, including beach toys for the little ones and everything needed to prepare a big Thanksgiving meal. I have to give a shout-out to the Bluewater management team. They were very communicative and available before and throughout our stay. Overall, just an excellent experience.

It would be nice to have a few extra towels and soaps in the kitchen/bathroom. On arrival, we noticed the floors were a bit sandy, but understandable being in a beach location. The house has been updated and was nice and very clean! The kitchen is stocked perfectly! The beds are comfy as well. Nice outdoor space and clean propane grill. We brought a portable fire pit which was perfect for nights. Would recommend it to families. Just a note there are no hallways so rooms are connected but all separate and private. You have to walk through one of the rooms to get to some of the rooms but it works out! Close to sea world also. Communication was excellent!

We stayed here for Spring Break 23’. The home was as advertised and pictures were pretty accurate. I would definitely rent this again. Pros: Location: 1 block from ocean side beach and 1 block from Mission Bay. Easy walk to the Belmont park area. A local food mart walking distance. Home is equipped with everything you need and w/beach chairs and boogie boards. Plenty of towels. Garage parking was a plus vs other similar listings. We had a larger SUV, Buick Enclave, that fit well. You have the entire cottage so no neighbors. The 4 bedrooms were nice with a nice master bed/bathroom with king bed. The outdoor patio was a favorite for drinks and grill time and meal time. Plenty of fans so, no AC was not an issue.

by Matt BanalA great property. We were initially concerned about whether our group of 10 (4 adults, 6 kids) would comfortably fit in this house, but it worked out really well for our stay. The set-up with the walk-through bedroom and bunks in a converted walk-in closet is a bit odd, but did not cause any problems. This house is just a short stroll to the beach sand, and you can easily walk to Belmont Park or the little market or liquor store down the street. We fit a mid-size SUV and a compact SUV in the garage with room to spare. Bluewater\'s service was excellent, providing us with some extra amenities to ensure we could cook (well, reheat) a full Thanksgiving dinner during our stay. The house was well-stocked with cookware and utensils for our everyday meals. It\'s a pretty small space, but for our purposes was just right.

Though there was no a/c there are plenty of windows and fans with extra in the downstairs closet. Can I just say hallelujah to the rain shower!!!!! Even my 1 and a half year old couldnt get enough of it lol. The outside seating fit 8 of us comfortably whenever we enjoyed our dinners. The kitchen had plenty of housewares for us to achieve our grand dinners and breakfasts meals. Beach amenities were there for us including beach toys for the kids. The master bed was plush and comfortable and the garage fits two cars. I couldnt say enough of this place and definitely will stay here again, couldnt recommend this property more if I tried. Thank you so much.

Our stay was great! Such a fun location. The house was nice and clean and had everything we needed. The only drawback for our party was the layout. We had 5 adults and 4 kids. The master bedroom upstairs is spacious and the bathroom/jacuzzi/shower were amazing. But the room with the bunk beds is off the master bath. So thats where our grandkids slept! Being a 60th birthday weekend the joke was on us, cause we got the grandkids up with us! The 2 littlest ones slept downstairs, but it is awkward walking thru one bedroom to get to the stairs to go to bed.

We loved the home! We had 4 adults and 5 kids. The location in South Mission was perfect for families with young kids. Super close to the beach. The fenced in front yard with a patio and small green patch was so great with kids. The house was fully stocked with all things needed. Over all a very pleasant stay.

Great beach house, perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 small children

Great beach house, perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 small children. House is fully stocked and location is great for a beach getaway. Only a short drive to the airport and all that San Diego has to offer. We found the house to be clean and will certainly consider staying there again on our next visit to San Diego.

I give this house 10 stars. It's a quiet area and well kept walkway. It was nice not to have to drive any where and be able to walk and enjoy the weather. Belmont was very close and the shops around the area. There is a market down the street where we stopped for drink, I forgot my card at the house and the owner was friendly enough to let us come back when we were done site seeing to go back and pay him. I don't have one negative thing to say about this property. The rental company was friendly and willing to help when I had a question.

We were a party of 6, 3 kids under 10, 3 adults, in San Diego for 4 nights. The Beach House was clean and well appointed. Great location a short walk from a beautiful, big beach. Only a 15 minute drive to the airport and downtown, it was a great place to stay for both beach-time and exploring the sights. Highly recommended for large parties.

We were really impressed with the maintenance, cleanliness and overall updated decor of this house. Everything was labeled and the house was easy to manage. The sand toys were a hit for the children and the garage is really large so 2 cars fit in perfectly. The best part was the yard for the little ones to play in and the BBQ area to enjoy the outside. The location is fantastic. It is so close to the beach and a park on the other side. The only disappointment we had is that the main part of the house is not as large as pictured. The sofa only fits 4 people and the dining table is right next to it so passing through was tight. Meals turned out fine as there is a nice bar area with three stools to sit at and that all worked out but for evenings with 7 adults and 3 children under the age of 5 - it was not very functional to hang out together. That is the only thing we found that just did not work for us.

Review #6228456 A fantastic vacation rental! You won't be disappointed! This place is amazing! My family rents a property every year at Mission Beach and this one was, by far, the best yet! It is clean, comfortable and very well maintained. It includes pretty much everything you need to have a nice, relaxing vacation. The description online is very accurate including the pictures. The location of this house is perfect! It is down on the south end of Mission Beach near the jetty which is a little quieter and less crowded. A short 2 - 3 minute walk down the court and you are on the beach. It is also within walking distance to a little grocery market, a couple bars, restaurants and a cute little coffee shop. For more major grocery shopping, there is a larger chain grocery store just a few miles down the road near Pacific Beach. All the cookware and utensils you need to cook your meals is provided, even a gas BBQ grill which was great! The 2 car garage is spacious and wonderful to have as parking can be hard to come by at Mission Beach. I can't really say enough good things about this place. I can almost guarantee we'll be back again next year! -Arizona Traveler

"great location, clean, modern, efficient, and user friendly." With comfortable beds, and a new kitchen, and clean tile bathrooms, we were all comfortable. situated between the beach and the bay, we had plenty to do just making short walks here and there. everything was clean, everything worked, and the jacuzzi bathtub in the master bedroom was a particular treat (especially for the kids). the lighting in each room was excellent, as well. It slept 9 of us comfortably and the house was completely updated. I would stay there again. Excellent service and beautiful house! From the time I made the reservation to the end of my stay has been nothing short of a great experience. Kendra was very helpful every step of the way and the house we decided to rent was clean and beautiful. Everything was brand new and clean. Area was right by the beach and accessible to everything. Though parking for more than 2 cars can be challenging at times. Overall everyone had a great time, loved the house, and would recommend Kendra and blue water anytime. Review #5205269 Seascape Beach House Review - Mission Beach Our Family my Wife ,our son and daughter ages 26 & 23 and 2 friends stayed at the Seascape Beach House for one week located at South Mission Beach area. I would first of all like to compliment the staff we dealt with at Bluewater Vacation Homes. Paul was are first contact great friendly person who helped us select our vacation property and highly recommened this property which was perfect for our stay. Leanna was to the sameway kept us updated on our payments for stay and also took time to call alerting us of when they were going to take payment out and answering any questions we might have. Kendra was the same way to personable, friendly, helpful, if see did not have the answer to your questions she would find out and get right back to you. When we arrived at Seascape Beach House and entered the home we felt right at home immediately freshly decorated, clean, really felt good.. Light blue walls, white wood work, off white kitchen cabinets well stocked with high quality everything you need to live and cook there, Appliances top notch stainless steel. Front Loading Washing machine and dryer new came in handy Soap was there too. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels. The master bedroom upstairs was very spacious painted a soft yellow color -, carpeted, very good natural light, bathroom, shower enclosure was glass all around - tiled, whirlpool tube deep and comfortable my wife enjoyed this. Had gas fireplace - worked. Had for nice sitting area outside from master bedroom with attractive doors. The Living room and kitchen area downstairs were tile floors really added something extra to this area instead of carpet. Patio area outside was also was cozy tiled- nice black wrought iron table and chairs, propane grill newer & clean- cooked there frequentley.. The white shorter fence with gate and topical growth inside it gives you just the right privacy. Very short walk to beach probably not more than 2 minutes to beach location that was not very crowed or busy the whole time during our stay. which from there you have access to boardwalk that heads both north & south for a walk or jog. You can use this to walk down to North Mission Beach shops and eating places. Lido the Maintenance Man had to come by because we thought we had a problem with shower hot water.That was not the case my daughter and friend were not operating valve right. Thanks Lido ! And gave us some suggestions where to eat and do etc. Hope to be back Someday. ! Thank you,

"Great vacation rental!" First of all, the home itself is very nice and appeared to be recently remodeled all the way around. From the beautiful kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and incredibly nice bathrooms, this place was an exceptionally cozy rental, well worth the price. It is the ideal place for a family (or two families depending on number of people) who seeks a vacation very close to the beach in a quiet area. Big screen Tv's in the living room and master bedroom and the living room has surround sound and DVD player. You can spend your nights outside on the front patio enjoying a barbeque, which we did on more than one night. The beds are very comfortable and the place has a great, modern style air conditioning unit. Initially our family was staying at a different rental spot and we were scheduled to stay at the Seascape cottage the last three nights we were in town. When we had problems at the spot we were staying, I called Bluewater Vacation Homes and spoke with Jenny Otteson and inquired about the availability of the cottage, as we wanted to stay there earlier than planned. Jenny was not only very professional, but she was very understanding of our situation. Jenny was able to accomodate us at the cottage early, and she gave us a great price for the first two nights (this was in October) because it had not been rented out prior to our scheduled dates. Jenny at Bluewater made sure our family enjoyed our vacation in San Diego, when it started out not so nice at our other rental spot. I am looking forward to returning to San Diego and staying at a Bluewater Vacation home, which will more than likely be the Seascape South Mission Beach Cottage. I would recommend this rental to anyone and I know they would not be disappointed. Thanks again for everything Jenny Patrick

The home is conveniently tucked just steps from South Mission Beach. Because the home is located toward the end of Mission Beach, the traffic was very mellow and relaxing. We traveled with our 2 year old daughter and another couple. There was plenty of space in this three bedroom 2 bath home. The remodel job is top notch. If we weren't on the beach, we spent most the time with the front screen door open lounging on the front porch soaking up the sun as our little one ran in and out of the home. We were so impressed that we will make it a repeat next year!

Great long weekend! Left on 03/15/2012 for a stay in March 2012 This house is located within 50 yards of the beach and away from the busy part of Mission Beach. Very little vehicle traffic which gave us wonderful days sitting outside and quiet nights.
