• Is there air conditioning? Like many coastal San Diego homes, this property relies on refreshing ocean breezes and ceiling fans rather than central A/C.
• Where can I park my car? The rental includes a private 1-car garage. Please note the dimensions (19'L x 8'W x 6'6"H) to ensure your vehicle fits.
• Can we walk to local restaurants? Yes! You are in a highly walkable "GEO-center" of Mission Beach. Dozens of restaurants, pubs, and markets are within a 5-minute walk.
• What is the noise policy? We strictly follow the City of San Diego Short-Term Rental Ordinance. Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM to respect our neighbors.
• What are the check-in and check-out times? Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. This allows our team to properly sanitize the home between guests.

This home is amazing! Best views, nice to have garage parking and had everything we needed. There were beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys and beach towels. We tried sleeping with the door open (with screen door) to listen to the ocean but did head quite a bit of noise from the boardwalk. Did not bother us! We brought sound machine for our toddlers to drown out street noise from back bedroom. Three fans were available for use which helped keep it cool! Everything we needed in the kitchen and complimentary coffee! Very clean, wonderful location and perfect views. Was nice to walk back and forth to the beach! We would love to come again. Bluewater was very responsive and checked in throughout our stay. Great to just have help and information a text away!

We come every year and this spot is perfect for us. Price is right for an oceanfront home and being on the 2nd level gives us much more privacy - we are above the boardwalk craze. The Olive baking co so close had the best coffee and cinnamon rolls in the mornings to start the day! It was so nice to be able to walk to the beach and come back and take a relaxing nap in the beautiful room overlooking the ocean! The beds were all really comfortable as well! Lots of amenities in the kitchen and nice blankets provided to take to the beach! We hope to come to stay here again!

The unit was exactly as described. Perfect setting, just steps to the beach. The balcony provided the perfect sunset views each evening. There were plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The only negative I had, which was completely out of the control of Blue Water was that the outside garbage was overflowing which was unpleasant at best. The condo provided everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable and spacious. I would definitely recommend this unit. Thank you for making our trip to San Diego so memorable.

Took my two daughters and granddaughter to enjoy fishing and beaches in San Diego. Saw dolphins and seals from second story balcony every morning while enjoying our coffee and peaceful sound of waves. We had excellent time on beach. We also visited Disneyland on one day and California Adventures on another day. About 1:15 minute drive to these attractions. Memories for my daughters and granddaughter for a lifetime. Thank you!!

The property managers were in constant contact to insure everything was right, they gave recommendations for our 50th wedding anniversary dinner - spot on -with the recommendation for Moe\'s Steakhouse. Sunset Condo

Very nice that it’s an oceanfront condo. Rented for 2 wks. Unfortunately needs some updates like electronic key pad, most rentals use those. Be nice to have a security/screen door so you can open door for cross breezes, it can get warm sometimes plus added security. Needs better window coverings, they do not keep out the sun very well plus the master BR window heats up in the afternoon. Also the street light on the boardwalk is right next to the condo and it shines right into the master at night, privacy is iffy, so these shades do not work well.
Since it’s a condo for 4, 2 extra patio chairs on balcony would have been nice. A dish drying rack would have been nice. The paper towel holder was broke & was gross. Lots of old placemats that were stained. Need to provide more towels for guests, things don’t dry very well in that climate. I did have to wipe down the table & coffee table, still had a little bit of sand.
Bluewater did a very good job of responding to few items that we didn’t get but did provide, plus the water heater was temperamental not always getting hot water for our showers.

Could not have had a better rental. Location right on the boardwalk and beach is ideal. The rental is well stocked and stylishly furnished. New appliances, great shower, and most of all the view of the sunset each night. Cute little patio with electric grill which we used several times. The rental is also very convenient to everything for example, we rented bikes from a place 3 blocks away. We were sad to leave and would rent the same unit again.

This was our 2nd time in this unit. We came here a year ago for my 50th birthday, and since we loved it so much, we returned for our anniversary this year. It's a really nice and comfortable place, with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The couches were different this time, but still very nice. We enjoyed being able to cook our own meals and dine in, instead of having to go out several times per day. We also enjoy sitting on the patio and watching the waves and generally relaxing. The 2nd bedroom is a good spot for me to spread out all my clothes, so my wife and I weren't tripping over each other's suitcases. The garage is also nice for vehicle security. We hope to return again to this location.

The property is in an excellent location

The property is in an excellent location. 2nd story means more privacy and great views without seeing all the foot/bicycle traffic on the front walk. The sales office is attentive and professional with better than average response times. The property was not as clean as we would have liked and we cleaned the kitchen ourselves on the first day. Spilled food on the side of the refrigerator - which was easily wiped up - as an example. The blinds in the bedroom were missing several slats which was a problem with the adjacent street light shinning at night. The most glaring problem was the fact there was no washer and dryer on the property as their website stated. The laundry facilities were down and across the street in the parking garage and need quarters to operate. Would have been nice to know before we came. There is only one parking spot in the garage and no chance of another on busy mission beach. The bed was comfortable with soft, superior quality sheets. Overall, it was ok but not up to advertised quality. I am troubled the home wasn't perfectly clean for your arrival, as that is not acceptable. I will address your concerns with the housekeeper and fix the blinds, no problem. I will also edit the listing to reflect that the washer and dryer are on property, but not in the home. Otherwise I am happy you enjoyed the other aspects of the home including the location and our service. Should you decide to return again we will take great care of you. Thank you!

"Great appartment, Fantastic location" I visited from England over the Christmas period, and splent alot of time on Google looking at all the Mission Beach / Mission Bay accomodation I could find. I came across the accomodation on the Bluewater Vacation Homes website, and it really caught my eye. There's always the worry with the Internet that a) the website may not have the service to back it up, and b) the description and pictures may be too good to be true. In this case I have to say I was delighted on both counts. The booking was a breeze, with additional assistance and offers around local attractions, and the place was just right for us (family of 4). The accomodation itself is a good size, well equipped and very comfortably furnished. The location is absolutley brilliant, right on the boardwalk looking out over the Pacific. I had wondered about Mission Beach vs Mission Bay, and I am so glad we went for the beach side. It was great to watch the waves rolling in, and nearly every day we saw a school (?) of dolphins swimming by, sometimes jumping around and surfing in the waves. Amazing. The property is also in a great location for getting to attractinos, stores, restaurants etc. Being roughly half-way between Belmont park and the Pier, it's not as busy as it would be closer to either of them, but both are easily walkable. It's also near The Mission cafe that does a great breakfast. I can't honestly say there was anything I didn't like. If I was going to picky, the bathroom could be bigger and there could be a drying rack for towels after we'd all showered, but really that's not what I go on holiday for. Just a great place

Spring Break for the Family - We had a great time on Mission Beach and in San Diego. It was a great place to bring our teenaged boys. The was always action on the boardwalk which we could observe from our balcony. The were also some wonderful sunsets. It was a comfortable, laid back, area with lots of restaurants nearby. Spring Break for the Family We had a great time on Mission Beach and in San Diego. It was a great place to bring our teenaged boys.
