Description:
Kai Vista is a 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath San Diego Vacation Rental located within steps of the famous Windansea beach in La Jolla, CA. Highlights of the condo include the open great room, private balconies, double master suites, and of course the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.

This second floor home features a single-level floor plan and is beautifully decorated in a beachy-chic theme that will get you in a summer state of mind. The kitchen is light and airy, featuring stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a breakfast bar that is in the center of the great room.

The great room’s floor to ceiling sliding glass doors and vaulted ceilings provide a very open feeling. The living area includes a cozy sectional couch, and 55” LCD flat panel TV with Direct TV including the NFL network. The unit is also equipped with a Home Stereo System radio/CD/IPod player, DVD player, telephone, and High Speed WI-FI Internet.

The two Master Suites each feature king-sized memory foam beds, and a roll away for that extra guest you may have drop in. The beds are cozy and have contemporary linens and down pillows. Both suites have private bathrooms with travertine tile and modern sink consoles. One bath features a stand-up shower and the other a tub-shower. Each bedroom also opens to a private small balcony with a view of the lush backyard garden to let in fresh air and sunshine.

This rental home is conveniently located with in walking distance to many local favorite food/drink spots including Su Casa Mexican Restaurant & Bar, Busy Bee Bagel Shop, and The Liquor Box just to name a few. Additionally, the world-class restaurants and shops of the downtown La Jolla Village and Prospect Street are only a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk away.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kai Vista. The view was beautiful, the proximity to the beach was fantastic. We were able to get to the San Deigo Zoo and Torry Pines Golf course easily. Had some great food close by and even tried out the rental scooters! The only thing that would improve this vacation home would be air conditioning!

Bluewater was extremely attentive to any contacts that I need to them. They were responsive when I called about a garbage disposal that I thought wasnt working properly and had it replaced within two hours. When I had connectivity problems they were rectified within less than a day. Friendly staff and eager to please. Among the best Ive ever rented from and I have been coming to Southern CA every winter for 6 years now.

Above the expectations I had for rentals. This is a beautiful and most comfortable and convenient property. It is in the most ideal location near the beach but not near too much of the noise along the ocean road (Neptune), near the village but away from the traffic. The place has all the amenities of home, clean and beautiful, nice big screen direct tv. Nice full capacity washer and dryer and many beach-going supplies (chairs, biggie boards). The only problems I had are ones common to all rental properties: a couple of barking dogs across the street, a mattress not to my preference (memory foam, hot and too soft), and some noisey renters downstairs. All in all, I highly recommend the property.

Bluewater was great. Plenty of communication. We didn't arrive until late evening and had some questions. WE called, left a message assuming since it wasn't urgent that we would hear back in the morning. We received a call back within 30 minutes which was great. The next day we received a check in call. WE also received a call the day before checkout.

The views are great! The ocean is right across the street. The double sliding glass doors were great for the view and the ocean breezes. The kitchen is well stocked. Yes there are TV's in the bedrooms! The pictures weren't clear and no one seemed to be sure so it was a nice surprise. Our only big complaint was the mattresses otherwise the stay was perfect. Bluewater is easy to deal with and very helpful!

We loved our stay! The location was perfect! The view was excellent. It felt very homey. Sure beats a hotel or resort. We liked preparing some of our meals. And having fruits and vegetables available. The neighborhood was very quiet at night, we really appreciated that. We took advantage of many of the things the San Diego has to offer. Perhaps the best thing was walking a beach every day!! We will be back!

"Incredible location just a stones throw from one of the more majestic beaches we've encountered in the U.S. We walked everywhere-- to the beach, the La Jolla Cove, into town for meals, the farmers market on Sunday morning, etc. We loved hearing the waves crashing against the rocks all night long. The place was cozy and had everything we needed. Although it's not clearly listed, there is tons of beach equipment for use in the garage. Clear and constant communication with Bluewater-- they called twice to ensure our stay was going well and we had everything we needed. We will be back next year for sure!" From stay in November 2016.

It was perfect for us with the 2 separate bedrooms each with a full bath. Our 2 boys (ages 7 and 10) shared one of the very large bedrooms and had their own bathroom! The management company was super responsive, communicative and very accommodating. The property was very clean and well maintained. It was great to be able to walk to the beach and hang out and not feel like we were committed to the beach for the entire day. In the evenings,we would watch the incredible sunset from the balcony. Perfect view! The location is wonderful, and other than the construction in the area, it is a quiet neighborhood that is not very touristy. But it's very close to the more touristy areas for shopping and restaurants. There is a grocery store nearby where we stocked up on staples for our stay. I truly cannot say enough about this property. We would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it.

The proximity to windandsea beach was so close that we spent so much time there sunbathing and watching sunsets. The patio had a view of the ocean which was great for breakfast and happy hour. The location was in a quiet neighborhood but still close enough to visit San Diego attractions. Torrey Pines State Reserve was close by for a scenic hike. My only suggestion would be to invest in a $200 memory foam topper for the bed. I would recommend staying at this condo if you like an upscale quiet beach town away from the touristy vibe of San Diego." -
